Could someone summarize the current status of the mortgage asset backed commercial paper issue on Canadian money market mutual funds? Which ones hold ABCP?

Monday October 15th is the rollover date for the 40 billion in Asset Backed Commercial Paper that was 'maturity delayed' from mid August. Put that together with yesterday's outside reversal day and we might just have the makings of a perfect storm. Take cover.

lony,
FYI, go to market watch.com, type in
Asset Backed Commercial Paper
in the search slot at the top of the page and see what comes up. Look for an article by Rex Nutting about 30 hours ago.
Here's one link, at the FED,

Thanks Greenhorn, as always your research is superb.
Do you think you could dig up something specific to the Cdn picture?

Hard to find on Canadian sites.
120 Billion seems to be the popular figure, but who really knows?
Using the search words -
Asset Backed Commercial Paper
This one might be Interesting: Speech by David Dodge.
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/speeches/2007/sp07-16.html
A list at DBRS:
http://www.dbrs.com/intnlweb/jsp/search/listResults.faces
Go to the Bank of Canada Site
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/index.html
and maybe the National Post, and Globe, and use the hilited words I used.
I had some other links here earlier, but apparently they time out after awhile.
Some of the sites have a contact us link, try that method by asking for a list or table, or a report; it might work.

This is worth your time to read (dated yesterday Oct12,07).
http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/financialpost/story.html?id=87464c49-980d-471...
"
Some observers have dubbed the securities market meltdown "a made-in-Canada crisis."
Here the worst of the crisis concerns a portion of the market known as non-bank sponsored asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) -- worth about $40-billion -- which is still frozen, leaving some investors desperately trying to figure out how to get back their investments.
"
So how much of this debt is held by your money market mutual fund?
We know Scotiabank (maybe CI) bailed out Dundee.

We know brokerages have commented / cautioned.
"Research Capital's cash resources are 100% liquid! In the current liquidity squeeze our clients need not be concerned about Research Capital's cash resources. None of our cash resources or securities inventories are invested in commercial paper or asset backed securities."
I hope I'm crying 'wolf'.

I'm looking for a screener that I can use to compare various money market funds. There's a bunch of mutual fund screeners out there, including at Yahoo Finance, but they don't include money market funds as one of their categories. Where can I find one that does?
I'm looking to compare things like yield, expense ratio and amount of holdings.
