Pre-opening Comments for Tuesday February 11th
U.S. equity index futures were lower this morning. S&P 500 futures were down 24 points at 8:30 AM EST.
Focus today is on Federal Reserve Chairman Powell’s testimony to a congressional committee updating U.S. monetary policy.
Coca Cola advanced $2.20 to $66.80 after reporting higher than consensus fourth quarter revenues and earnings.
Dupont added $2.77 to $79.03 after reporting higher than consensus fourth quarter revenues and earnings.
Lattice Semiconductor added $7.03 to $61.50 on higher than consensus fourth quarter earnings. The company also raised guidance.
Phillips 66 advanced $6.57 to $130.28 after activist investor Elliott purchased an equity interest.

US Bancorp $USB an S&P 100 stock moved below $46.69 and $46.65 completing a Head & Shoulders pattern.
Toronto Dominion Bank $TD.TO a TSX 60 stock moved above Cdn$85.79 to a 33 month high extending an intermediate uptrend. The company announced sale of its interest in Charles Schwab
