U.S. equity index futures moved lower following release of the July Employment Report at 8:30 AM EDT<\/b>. Consensus was a drop to 250,000 from upwardly revised 398,000 in June. Actual was an increase to 528,000. Consensus for the July Unemployment Rate was unchanged from June at 3.6%. Actual was a drop to 3.5%. Consensus for July Average Hourly Earnings was an increase of 0.3% versus unchanged in June. Actual was an increase of 0.5%.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Canadian Dollar dropped 0.37 to US77.26 cents following release of Canada\u2019s July Employment Report at 8:30 AM EDT<\/b>. Consensus was an increase of 15,000 versus a gain of 43,200 in June. Actual was a loss of 30,600. Consensus for the July Unemployment Rate was an increase to 5.0% from 4.9% in June. Actual was unchanged at 4.9%<\/em><\/p>\n

Block dropped $5.07 to $84.63<\/b> after lowering guidance. <\/em><\/p>\n
