U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning<\/b>. S&P 500 futures were up 4 points at 7:30 AM EDT.<\/em><\/p>\n

Traders are waiting for U.S. economic news released at 8:30 AM EDT<\/b>. Consensus for first estimate of third quarter real GDP is growth at a 2.1% rate versus a decline of 0.6% in the second quarter. Consensus for September Durable Goods Orders is an increase of 0.5% versus a decline of 0.2% in August. Excluding Transportation Orders, consensus for September Durable Goods Orders is an increase of 0.2% versus a gain of 0.3% in August.<\/em><\/p>\n

Meta Platform $META dropped $10.00 to $119.82<\/b> after reporting less than consensus third quarter earnings. <\/em><\/p>\n

KLA Tencor $KLAC advanced $5.60 to 312.00<\/b> after reporting higher than consensus fiscal first quarter earnings. The company also raised guidance for the second quarter. Reults had a positive impact on semiconductor ETFs in overnight trade. <\/em><\/p>\n

ServiceNow ($NOW) jumped $42.59 to $409.00<\/b> after reporting higher than consensus third quarter revenues and earnings. <\/em><\/p>\n
