Equity index futures were mixed this morning<\/b>. S&P 500 futures were down 1 point at 8:35 AM EDT.<\/em><\/p>\n

Index futures were unchanged following release of the July U.S. Housing Starts report at 8:30 AM EDT.<\/b> Consensus was an increase of 1.450 million units versus 1.414 million units in June. Actual was 1.452 million units<\/em><\/p>\n

H&R Block<\/b> gained $1.85 to $37.20 after reporting higher than consensus fiscal fourth quarter revenues.<\/em><\/p>\n

Agilent<\/b> dropped $2.50 to $123.15 after reporting lower than consensus fiscal third quarter revenues. The company also lowered fourth quarter guidance.<\/em><\/p>\n

Target<\/b> gained $10.45 to $135.50 after reporting higher than consensus second quarter earnings. <\/em><\/p>\n

Chevron<\/b> added $1.01 to $160.25 after Mizuho upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy. Target price was raised from $205 to $209.<\/em><\/p>\n
