Focus today is on a decision announced by the FOMC on U.S. interest rates at 2:00 PM EDT.<\/b> Consensus (100%) calls for no change in the Fed Fund Rate at 4.50%. Comments offered by Federal Reserve Chairman Powell\u2019s will be watched closely for a sense of direction.<\/em><\/p>\n

J P Morgan Chase<\/b> added $0.35 to $235.32 after raising its dividend by 12%.<\/em><\/p>\n
