U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning. S&P 500 futures were up 45 points at 8:35 AM EDT.<\/em><\/p>\n

S&P 500 futures added 18 points following release of the U.S. May Employment Report<\/b>. Consensus for May Non-farm Payrolls was a drop to 125,000 from revised 147,000 in April. Actual was 139,000. Consensus for the May Unemployment Rate was unchanged from April at 4.2%. Actual was. unchanged. Consensus for May Average Hourly Earnings was a 0.3% increase versus a 0.2% gain in April. Actual was a 0.4% gain.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Canadian Dollar added 0.07 to US73.12 cents following release of Canada\u2019s May Employment Report<\/b> at 8:30 AM EDT. Consensus called for a 12,000 drop in employment. Actual was an 8,800 gain. Consensus called for an increase in the unemployment rate to 7.0% from 6.9% in April. Actual was an increase to 7.0%<\/em><\/p>\n

Lulu Lemon<\/b> dropped $69.78 to $261.00 after issuing guidance below consensus following release of first quarter results. <\/em><\/p>\n
