Pre-opening Comments for Tuesday September 23rd<\/sup><\/strong><\/font><\/em><\/p>\n

U.S. equity index futures were mixed this morning<\/b>. S&P 500 futures were down 3 points at 8:30 AM EDT. <\/em><\/p>\n

Boeing <\/b>advanced $4.75 to $216.84 on news that the company is in final stages of negotiations over a \u201chuge\u201d order for aircraft with China<\/em><\/p>\n

Micron<\/b> added $1.03 to $165.65 prior to releasing quarterly results later today.<\/em><\/p>\n

Almost all of the gain by the S&P 500 Index yesterday came from two stocks: NVidia and Apple<\/b>. Nvidia advanced $3.93% reaching its new all-time high at $184.55. Apple gained $4.31 to $256.08, just below its all-time high at $259.18<\/em><\/p>\n
