U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning<\/b>. S&P 500 futures were up 94 points at 8:35 AM EST.<\/em><\/p>\n

S&P 500 futures added 10 points following release of the U.S. October Employment Report<\/b> at 8:30 AM EST. Consensus for Non-farm payrolls was a 50,000 increase. Actual was a 119,000 increase. Consensus for the October Unemployment was 4.3%. Actual was 4.4%. Consensus for October Earnings was a 0.3% increase. Actual was a 0.2% increase.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nvidia<\/b> advanced $9.86 to $196.38 after reporting higher than consensus third quarter revenues and earnings. The company also offered positive fourth quarter guidance. <\/em><\/p>\n

Other Artificial Intelligence stocks responded to the Nvidia report. Advanced Micro devices<\/b> (AMD) advanced $9.38 to $232.93, Microsoft<\/b> added $6.00 to $493.12 and Micron<\/b> added $9.53 to $235.45.<\/em><\/p>\n

Palo Alto<\/b> dropped $7.20 to $192.70 despite reporting higher than consensus first quarter results. The company also announce purchase of Chromosphere for $3.5 billion.<\/em><\/p>\n

Wal-Mart<\/b> slipped $1.01 to $99.60 despite reporting higher than consensus third quarter revenues and earnings. The company also raised fourth quarter guidance<\/em><\/p>\n
