U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning.<\/b> S&P 500 futures were up 12 points at 8:30 AM EST.<\/em><\/p>\n

U.S. focus today is on news from <\/b>the FOMC meeting <\/b>released at 2:00 PM EST. Consensus calls for no change in the Fed Fund Rate currently at 3.50%-3.75%. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell will update at a press conference at 2:30 PM EST.<\/em><\/p>\n

Micron Technology<\/b> (MU) advanced $8.22 to $418.46 after announcing expansion of memory chip production in Singapore.<\/em><\/p>\n

Seagate<\/b> Technology<\/b> (STX) advanced $34.23 to $405.20 after reporting higher than consensus fourth quarter earnings. <\/em><\/p>\n

ASML<\/b> advanced $85.56 to $1,540.15 after reporting higher than consensus fourth quarter results. <\/em><\/p>\n
