U.S. equity index futures were lower this morning<\/b>. S&P 500 futures were down 37 points at 8:35 AM EST.<\/em><\/p>\n

S&P 500 futures were unchanged following release of the December Producer Price Index<\/b> at 8:30 AM EST. Consensus was a 0.3% increase versus a 0.2% increase in November. Actual was a 0.5% increase. Excluding food and energy<\/b>, consensus was a 0.3% increase in December versus a 0.2% increase in November. Actual was a 0.7% increase<\/em><\/p>\n

Apple <\/b>(AAPL) dropped $1.78 to $256.50 despite reporting higher than consensus fiscal first quarter revenues and earnings. <\/em><\/p>\n

Sandisk<\/b> (SNDK) jumped $125.95 to $665.25 after reporting higher than consensus fiscal second quarter earnings.<\/em> <\/p>\n
