S&P 500 futures dropped 16 points following release of the August Producer Index<\/b> at 8:30 AM EDT. The Index was expected to increase 0.4% versus no change in July. Actual was a 0.4% increase. On a year-over-year basis. the Index was expected to increase 5.3% versus 4.7% in July. Actual was a 5.4% increase. Excluding food and energy, the Index was expected to increase 0.3% versus a 0.2% increase in July. Actual was a 0.2% increase.<\/em><\/p>\n

WTI Crude Oil<\/b> added $1.43 to $97.46 per barrel.<\/em><\/p>\n

American Eagle Outfitters<\/b> (AEO) dropped $1.58 to $15.31 after reporting less than consensus second quarter same store sales. <\/em><\/p>\n
