Pre-opening Comments for Tuesday May 5th

U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning. S&P 500 futures were up 34 points at 8:35 AM EST.

S&P 500 futures were unchanged following release of the March U.S. Trade Report at 8:30 AM EST. Consensus was a $60.9 billion deficit versus a revised $58.0 billion deficit in February. Actual was a $60.3 billion deficit.

Palantir (PLTR) added $1.59 to $147.62 after reporting higher than consensus first quarter results.

Pinterist (PINS) gained $3.00 to $23.85 after reporting higher than consensus first quarter results.

Duolingo (DUOL) dropped $14.74 to $95.49 after reporting less than consensus fiscal fourth quarter results.

Pfizer (PFE) added $0.34 to $26.64 after reporting higher than consensus first quarter revenues and earnings.
