The FOMC maintained its Fed Fund Rate at 3.50%-3.75% as expected. Responses after 2:00 PM EDT were as follows:

Price of long term (20+years) Treasury Bonds (TLT) initially dropped, then rallied, then closed virtually unchanged.

The U.S. Dollar ETN (UUP) moved sharply higher.

Money center bank SPDRs (KBE) moved sharply lower.

JP Morgan (JPM) an S&P 100 stock moved above $334.16 to an all-time high extending an intermediate uptrend.

Vertex Pharma (VRTX) a NASDAQ 100 stock moved above $456.08 resuming an intermediate uptrend.

Costar (CSGP) a NASDAQ 100 stock moved below $31.35 extending an intermediate downtrend.
